Aggregate Audit Rollup

Purpose Network-level audit view with per-agent drilldown. Composes multiple individual agent audit trails into a unified footprint view that covers every agent's actions, every handoff, every consent event, and every tool call across the entire multi-agent run.
Use when Any multi-agent run that requires post-run accountability review, compliance documentation, or governance inspection. Required when individual agent audit trails exist but cannot be reconstructed into a coherent network-level record without compositing.
Do not use As a replacement for individual agent audit trails (AA01) — the rollup composes them, it does not replace them. Do not merge agent records into a single flat list without preserving agent attribution for each action.
Failure mode prevented Network accountability gaps — multi-agent runs where individual agent logs exist in isolation but the full cross-agent footprint (handoffs, consent events, parallel actions) cannot be reconstructed from them.

Overview

Design rule

Post-run accountability for multi-agent workflows cannot be reconstructed from individual agent logs. The aggregate audit must compose the full network footprint while preserving per-agent attribution and drilldown to the individual action level.

The Aggregate Audit Rollup is the network-level accountability record for a complete multi-agent run. It starts at the highest level — the run as a whole — and allows inspectors to drill down through: the network view (all agents and their aggregate actions), per-agent views (each agent's individual AA01 audit trail), and cross-agent events (handoffs, consent events, conflict resolutions).

The rollup is not a merged flat log. It maintains the agent attribution for every action, every tool call, and every consent event. Cross-agent events like handoffs and conflict resolutions are surfaced as network-level events that link to both agents involved. The rollup must be exportable as a complete package — not as separate files per agent.
