Prompt Enhancement

Purpose AI-assisted rewriting or expansion of user prompts to improve clarity and effectiveness before submission. Surfaces better instructions without requiring prompt engineering expertise.
Use when A user has typed a short, ambiguous, or incomplete prompt and the system can infer a more complete version that would produce better results.
Do not use Without explicit user intent to enhance. Never silently rewrite the prompt. The original must always be visible and restorable. Enhancement is opt-in.
Failure mode prevented Novice users submit vague prompts and receive vague outputs. They blame the AI rather than the prompt. Prompt enhancement surfaces this gap before submission.

Design rule

Prompt enhancement is advisory, not corrective. The system suggests — the human decides. An enhancement that submits automatically without user confirmation violates this contract.
